Valor United, LLC.

Valor United LLC., was founded in 2017 by Higinio (Gene) D. Espino Jr., a San Antonio, Texas native and proud veteran. In his desire to continue serving his fellow military brethren and their families, Gene, along with his family, committed themselves to providing exceptional healthcare environmental services and operations and maintenance services across the country. Our motto, “Built to Serve”, is testament to Valor’s pledge to provide the best quality service by utilizing its family’s extensive years of experience in various industries, while capitalizing on Gene’s military experience. Valor United LLC is registered as a Veteran-owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Minority-owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and HUBZone Small Business. Valor is focused on expanding its services to include healthcare environmental, custodial, facility operations and maintenance and grounds maintenance services.


Owner

Higinio (Gene) Espino Jr., a disabled veteran, joined the armed forces at the age of 18. Gene proudly served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1970 and fought in Vietnam. He continues to support Veterans in numerous ways to include active membership in the VFW Post #9186, the Edgewood District Veterans of San Antonio, and he also serves on the Edgewood Veterans Golf Committee. His company’s mission and goal are to assist his fellow military brothers/sisters and their families by providing exceptional services to military and VA medical treatment facilities, thus contributing to the quality of treatment they receive. Gene retired from Southwestern Bell after serving them and their customers for 27.5 years as a Service Technician in San Antonio and surrounding areas. After retiring in 2002, Gene worked as a custodian for the Northside Independent School District. In 2004, Gene also worked as a Housekeeper in the OR at Brooke Army Medical Center. There he learned the importance of disinfecting, terminal cleaning and the use of proper protective personal equipment (PPE).
